Precious Baby Girl!

Ok...steady yourself now....nope, notta sheet of Basic Grey or My Mind's Eye in sight today!! How cute is this Motivet image...? And it's just perfect for 2 challenges this week!

The first is Cute Card Thursday - their theme is "New Beginnings" so this card fits nicely!

The second is Stampin' For the Weekend - their theme is "Anything Baby" (and I think this is my first time "playing" with this challenge group)!

I've used the fab sketch at Sketch Saturday - thank you girls I enjoyed using it! bx

I coloured my Motivet image with Prisma color pencils
I thought this Rusty Pickle paper suited my Motivet image well
I've used a Melissa Frances rub on sentiment
Making Memories glittered star
Not sure of the maker of the button or fine satin ribbon

For You!

I used the sketch no 130 at CPS to create this card...a nice simple sketch which I enjoy!!

I inked up one of my lovely new Sarah Kay images....coloured it with Prisma pencils, used MME papers, a piece of recycled ribbon, some Rayher pearls, a Hero Arts sentiment, a lovely Prima bloom and of course some stickles to finish! Have you tried these yummy Prima blooms?....they have a kinda glaze on them!

I actually made this lil purse first, then I decided to use up the "scraps" to make my card! I used a recycled piece of chocolate ribbon, and some Making Memories bobble trim. I used a template for the purse - very quick n easy to make and looks cute (I think!!) lol

So there you have it, a card and matching gift bag!
Have a fab weekend everyone! bx

Happy Birthday!

Oh me, oh my...I have had one of the most stressful days in my life...I won't share here, for the sake of your mind and sweet dreams tonight...but, if you like bugs and gory story's email me for more!!

I can't believe I'm only getting around to using this sweetie now...but she is a sweetie isn't is? I've inked her up for The Sugar Bowl's 17th challenge. I've turned this sketch upside down; and yes, I've only added one handmade flower, but any more was too much!
For my handmade flower I used a floral shaped punch on a free "book", inked the edges, added a roughly cut piece of linen (Colin's old shirt!), added a roughly torn piece of paper and topped that off by adding some Rayher pearls!
I coloured my image using Prisma pencils, and stand back in amazement I have used SEI and MAMBI papers...(yep not a MME or Basic Grey in sight!!), I used a Kim Hughes sentiment, and a lovely piece of chocolate lace from Leann - think that's it!
Ok, I'm off to de-stress......it's gonna take a while I can tell ya!! bx

Stephanie's Super Candy!

Look at this fabulous candy being offered by Stephanie (Stamping & Sharing)....I had my first visit to her blog...her cards and projects are fabulous (scroll through til you find the sugar free cake!!)...but I am overwhelmed by her generosity also!

Thank you Stephanie for being such a generous and fun crafty gal! bx

I've used the sketch created by the very talented Rach on behalf of Whiff of Joy Challenges...thanks Rach I enjoyed it!

I coloured the image using prisma pencils, used some MME papers from the 6x6 pack, Making Memories ribbon, Rayher pearls, the sentiment is also from the WOJ kit...but I just can't remember where those leaves are from! bx

PTW 100th Challenge!

Seems like I have been all week making this card...and I almost missed showing it in time!! I was very busy last week with one thing and another, and didn't get much time for cardmaking! When i finally got this card finished...i went to get the camera...and flashback...I left it at my friends house....after a night of partyin'.....I'm still recovering today...need I say more..?! lol
Ok, nuff chitter, the card: Papertake Weekly is celebrating their 100th challenge this week...woohoo PTW! Their challenge was to look through their previous 99 challenges and choose your fav...so, I started looking through the archives and taking a note of things I "could" do...then as the list grew I thought it might be fun to try and see how many I could fit in! Now, granted there is some overlap, but remember this is for FUN...so the challenges I have "used" are:

Happy Happy!

I finally inked up this cutie from Whiff of Joy stamps.....she's been sitting unloved for a while now!!
I'm entering this card into the first Basic Grey challenge since their grand new re-opening as it's their sketch!
I'm also entering this card into the Whiff of Joy challenge as it's a colour challenge "Brown and Pink".
I'm also entering it into Double Dutch (my first time entering this challenge) as their challenge is to use the colours "Brown Pink and Cream"!
And finally I'd like to enter this card into Stamp with Fun's challenge which was "birthday"!
I coloured the image with Prisma pencils, used papers from Basic Grey (Bittersweet collection), a princess charm (it was too shy to be photographed front on!!) - I added a few jewels to the top of it, the Happy happy tag is from Hero Arts, ribbon I think is from Michaels, Prima flowers and a creative imagination fuzzy brad. Oh...I almost forgot...I used a fab background stamp from Memory Box to add a lil "somthing" on my pink stip! bx

Best Days of our Lives...

Listen....do you want to know a secret...? Sorry don't have one to share, that song just popped into my head and you know how it is...! lol

I used Dawny P's sketch over at Papertake Weekly Challenge - thanks Dawn I enjoyed using it!

LOVE this pair, new from Sarah Kay...I thought they could be used for a few different occasions! I've coloured them with the Prisma pencils, used some MME papers, a Melissa Frances rub-on, a scrap of sheer ribbon left on my desk...and I think...thats a Hero Arts fabric brad!

Oh Belfast is positively buzzzin...such a crowd of people down taking part in all the activities...i thought there was a great atmosphere for such a crowd with no bother at all...it's all fun fun fun! bx

I almost forgot the "option" though which was to add doodling...phew! Thanks for the fabby sketch Marlene....loved it!!

I used papers from the Paperie, Rouge collection by Making Memories (still love it!) and the co-ordinating blooms, buttons and spiral notebook and a few pearls from Kaiser....coloured of course using the Prisma pencils!

...look what Mr Postie delivered this morning....a parcel of loveliness from the fabby Leann. I was lucky enough to win this gorgeous RAK from her recently. It's a lil box she decorated (quite beautifully!) and then stuffed full with yummy coffee n creme ribbons, buttons and blooms! Thank you so much Leann...I just love it...don't know how you parted with it actually!!

Anyone for Anya?

I created this card to "try out" for the DT call at Anyone for Anya?......a new challenge blog starting up on 25th August! If you fancy having a go yourself pop across to the blog and find out the deets!!

I coloured this cute gal with Prisma pencils, used some MME papers, Making Memories ribbon, Hero Arts sentiment, blooms by daisy D and Prima, and brads (sorry, I can't remember who these are by!!).

The sketch is by Dawny P at Anyone for Anya? and I think this is fairly typical of "my style" (whatever that is!! lol) bx
