I made this card for my Mum's birthday using little 'bits n pieces' from different people!!
I received the Magnolia wall and Tilda images from Maria - cheers Maria!
I received the doily from Deb - ta Deb!
I received the angel charm (I wanted to make sure and use this gorgeous charm on a card for some-one special!) and prima flower from Frances - merci Frances!
This card meets the "double trouble" challenge at Magnolia/Stampavie where you had to use at least 2 images - I've managed 3 on this one. I've had Rufus stamped and coloured for a while now; he was patiently waiting a home!! bx

Thank You Girls!
I just realised that I hadn't shown this gorgeous card I got from Marlene before christmas! Look at the detail and the colouring....I was surprised and delighted to receive it...and it's on my "wall of fame" for sure!! Thank you so much Marlene!Recently I received this goodie parcel from Deb...another gorgeous card for my precious collection and lots of new toys and images for me to play with...thank you so much Deb...it was a pure delight to receive all this from you!
Good things come in three's...I was thrilled with this parcel from Maria! Wow...just couldn't get it all in one picture....and those few Magnolia images do not reflect the mountain of gorgeous images that she sent me - all images that I don't own! Oh...and I can confirm that the chocolate is delish!! Although it says on the pack "for sharing..." - I didn't!!
Another beautiful card for my collection - thank you so much Maria...you are sooo thoughtful! I've always thought things happen for a reason...even little things...I couldn't tell you how many times I looked at that gorgeous christmas stamp (you can just see it peeking at the bottom right) and for some reason I changed my mind each time...that's why, "some-one" had already bought it for me!!
I can't thank you 3 girls enough...I am sincerely touched that you all thought of me...you each made me so very happy!
Just to finish, this is one of the gorgeous Whiff of Joy images that Deb sent me....I've used some of the yummy Paperie, Mocha collection by Making Memories using the fab Sketch Saturday...another great sketch and I shall hang on to this one too!! bx

Love is in the Air!
'Love is in the Air' is this weeks' theme at A Spoonful of Sugar.....this is a very simple card really, but it has some nice textures on it with the chipboard sentiment, the acetate butterfly and the velvet heart lace!! It is much nicer in real life too, I am just pants at taking photo's, I'm not even going to blame it on the light! LOL bx

My hubby dreams of cake!
He really does!! My sister asked me to make her a card for my hubby's birthday - this is what I came up with! I used this Penny Black image and repeatedly stamped the word "cake" to suggest that that is what he is dreaming of!! (the story behind this is that unfortunately he has a few medical conditions which means he seriously needs NOT to be eating anything sweet...but for such a sweet tooth this is very painful!)
Anyway, I used Julee's sketch for that particular week, and some K & Co papers which I thought were suitable for men!!

Awwww look......isn't she just adorable? I can't get enough of these sweet little Sugar Nellies! I made this card using the current Saturday Sketch which I loved and will store away for future use!!
I am still "usin' it up" - see that little epoxy word "play"...? I have that about 4 years or so..but I was saving it for this special creation don't y a know!! bx

Kick up your Heels!
This is my second "attempt" at Friday Sketchers current sketch (turned upside down)!
My "problem" with the first card (posted yesterday) is that I didn't want to hide my pretty papers with that extra layer...so....being the crafty girl I am, I used a piece of acetate on this card....'cos I sure wasn't hiding these beauties!! I just love the colours of the BG bittersweet range...I cut along the pattern of the middle layer to go with the flow of the swing...and I like how the pattern on the paper sorta goes with that theme too!!
I thought this stampendous sentiment just matched the gorgeous Sugar Nellie perfectly - and it just happens to fit perfectly with this week's Stamp Something (which is to make a "birthday something"!!)
I must say I was pleased with this card...there's lots of different textures on it. The beautiful prima flower is one of the beauties sent to me by Johanna! bx

Relax with a giggle!
The CCT challenge this week was to "Have a giggle"! I immediately thought of a funny sentiment that I have, but when I went to get it I saw this fun whipper snapper stamp and decided to use it instead...well, it's only been lying unloved for almost a year now!!
I used the colour theme at Whiff of Joy as I liked these Basic Grey papers together.
Initially I was using the Friday Sketchers sketch but i didnt want to add that extra layer...it hid all my pretty paper!!!! So, I left it like this and created another card for that challenge!
The "bubbles" were part of a fabulous candy that I won from Frances! The big bracket (MM) is lovely and glittery (as are my bubbles in the bath) but you can't see that in the photo! bx

WOJ Colour Challenge!
Yaaaayyyy....I've finally got my act together for the challenges again - well, this week anyway!!!! Thankfully I've been enjoying my crafting again after suuuchhh a long time of sickness!!
So this card is for the Whiff of Joy colour challenge - Green and Purple. Although not colours I would normally race to use I think it's a lovely combo!! I love this little image too - and find that she's quite versatile!! bx

Going Dotty!
I made this for my nephew's first birthday which is in a couple of days and it fits nicely into this weeks Penny Black Challenge which is "Let's Get Dotty"!
I love these Daisy D papers, one of which is dotty, I've also used "fuzzy" round brads to highlight the birthday sentiment and itchy titchy brads on my name tab!

Happy Birthday Frank!
I'm sure many of you saw the special request to send a card to the Grandfather of Tina (owner of High Hopes) to celebrate his 88th birthday on the 21st of this month...? Well this is the card I sent him...I hope he has a wonderful surprise with all the birthday wishes from all over the world and has the best birthday!!
Look at this fabulous award! It's the Marie Antoinette Award - A Real Person, A Real Award! And it was kindly awarded to me from Natalie!

It's all about Three...
.....over at the Sugar Bowl this week!! And look at me...in on the first day this time instead of after the last minute!! haha
Anyway, there are THREE fabulous prizes up for grabs for this next challenge - which is all about 3!! Use 3 different patterned papers (you can use as much cardstock as you like), three different kinds of embellishments and if you're really on a roll, if you use THREE Sugar Nellie stamps then you double your chance of winning a prize!! Cool ehh..?!
I had these 2 beauties on my desk waiting patiently to be played with...and happily for me they face each other so I wanted to use them as my winter pair....
All the PP's I used are lovely and shimmery (Bo-bunny and SEI), and the 3 embellishments I used are flowers, brads and the glittery see-through dotty corner (MM)....I'm really making an effort to use my stuff!!
I have been enjoying decorating the back of my cards this year - another fab way of using up the bits (I couldn't bear to just chuck 'em!!)...but I've been too busy (cough, or lazy!!) to get much done on the inside...so I made the effort for this challenge of 3!!

The Last Tram...
Will I make it....? That's what happens when you think you have "loads of time"......it ends up being last minute!! And I sooooooo wanted to enter this, the Sugar Bowls, first challenge!
So here is my "effort"....I must say I really loved Tiets sketch and used it for another card too...and will probably use it again! Thanks Tiets!!
And isn't "she" gorgeous....? I got her just before christmas and am at last getting round to using her! So that's one down another zillion ( I wish!!) to go!! bx
PS Notice her toe-nail polish.....?! LOL

Happy Birthday Daniel!
Lots of male birthdays this month for me!! Today is my nephew's 11th birthday - hope you had a fab day "son"!!
I made this card following last week's CPS sketch (which I loved!), using an "old" Woodware set - I find it hard to get suitable male images!! (But great news is Sugar Nellie is bringing out some great male images soon!!)
I did some paper piecing with scraps and therefore this qualifies for A Spoonful of Sugar's challenge - think this might be the first time I've managed to get my act together in time for one of their challenges!! bx

I fiinaaaally got around to inking up this sweetie! I just LOVE her "tude"! I used the current CPS sketch no98...it's the first one of the brand new year and I LOVE it!! I've made a few other cards with this easy sketch and will definitely use this one again!! bx

Happy New Year Y'all!!
I'd like to wish everyone the "happiest, peaceful, healthy new year EVER"! I hope you all had a wonderful christmas holiday and are looking forward to a new year ahead!
I have been sick again! But...fingers (and everything else crossed!) I am on the road to recovery now!! I got some gorgeous new stamps from santa and I'm now itching to play with them!!
I made this 2nd card with Blossom before christmas - same image (as my previous post) but the 2 cards are sooo different...I just LOOOOVE the versatility that stamps offer!! I used this Basic Grey pp because I thought it matched her little "bouquet" so well....I really enjoyed using this little lady; I think she'd make a great little bridesmaid so it'd be a useful stamp for any trendy brides out there...!
