Use your Favourite Stamp!

Phew what a week I've had...hectic and stressful does not even come close!! lol But it's time for a new challenge at Crafty Creations and this week the challenge is to "use your favourite stamp" (digi or rubber)!

The sponsor this week is Bugaboo Stamps...the winner of the challenge will get to choose 7 images...what a fab prize!!

I chose this lil guy (BB Sean)...I thought he was as cute as can be and would be perfect for a teacher appreciation card (yep, end of year is almost upon us again!!). I thought this paper collection from October Afternoon (Fly a Kite) would be perfect also! The sentiment is a rub-on by Melissa Frances, the bar code is a stamp from a collection by Autum Leaves, a Fancy Pants pin and scrap of ribbon finish it all off!

I can't wait to see everyone's "favourite" stamp...what will you choose...?! bx

Celebration!

This week at Crafty Creations Challenges we have the theme "Encouragement/Celebration". We are very generously sponsored by "Wink Wink Ink" and the winner of the challenge will have a lil pick from their store!!

I have used this adorable image from Wink Wink Ink called "Moon Baby". I must say it was a joy to colour and work with!

I fancied trying to do something a little different so I reached for a brown paper bag!! (hence so many photo's!!)

I haven't made one of these in ages and was quite pleased with the result! I used Daisy D's papers, the front sentiment is by A Muse and the inside sentiment is by Penny Black. Lots of little odds n sods - pearls, scraps of ribbon, a few making Memories embellishments all went to complete the look! ( I made the button inside by using a small circular nestie/a scrap of October Afternoon paper)!

Oh no...the big four oh!

Just thought I'd sneak this lil card in before retiring in front of the telly!! My brother-in-law is "celebrating" reaching this fine number on Friday!

The cute image is a freebie I downloaded recently....aren't they an adorable pair?!

Do you like my pricked edges....? Was supposed to be stitched...only halfway through the thread messed up...so the only option was to continue without the thread!! lol

So this card fits nicely into Cute Card Thursday - Boyz to men and Something For the Weekend - a card for a male! bx

WOYWW

Well hello...and a warm welcome to the house of "b"!! I made a promise to Deb last week that I would get the finger out and share a photo this week for WOYWW....so here it is...my messy desk...where it all "happens"!!!

I got this fab desk from Ikea last year...with the back shelves to store everything higher and so leave me more desk space...as you can see that plan didn't really work!! I colour on that stack of sheets, you can see my fab daylight and loads of yummy papers and necessities all around....if you see something and want to know about it just ask...!! bx

Around the World!

We have a fab new theme this week at Crafty Creations Challenges - Around The World!! We are kindly sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs and this gorgeous lady is one of their designs!!

Let me tell you a bit about my card: The paper and coin is from a kit I got from QVC a few years ago...I KNEW i would need it one day!!

The tag was hoarded from a pair of Colin's jeans....it came distressed like that and with the background stamping...I loved it!! (I'm easily pleased)...and thought it went well with the theme...around the world...luggage...labels...!!

The 2 stamps were on a parcel I got from Hong Kong last year....(nope....not crafty stuff..Mario characters for my nephews!)....so the postal mark is "real".

The beautiful lady I coloured with Prismacolors, cut out and popped on the tag!!

Ok...I will be back later with a photo of my messy desk....are you ready Deb...?! lol bx

PS I can't wait to see how many countries/styles will be represented in this challenge!!

Finally I got to make a card again!! Just been a busy b and crafting had to go right to the back of the queue!! lol

I had been itching to ink this fab Mo Manning stamp up since I got it....can't you just hear this pooch "howling" to the tune....i just love how much life Mo brings to her characters!!

I'm going to enter this card into Stamp Something's "birthday" theme! bx

Wow...this past week flew past in a blur....and today it's time for a new challenge at Crafty Creations!! This week the theme is "Magical" and is sponsored by Stitchy Bear Stamps!!

I chose this fabulous fairy image and have suspended her using acetate so that the image "flutters" a little!! I coloured her with prisma colours, added stickles and gems to her wings, and finished by adding a Making Memories crown brad!
